Southampton had to rely on good form at the end of last season to get them out of the relegation zone. Two games in and they only have one point and another long hard season looks likely. They started their season off with a goalless draw at home to Burnley, no real surprise considering 12 of their home league games last season had under 2.5 goals scored in them. That point was followed by a 2-1 defeat at Everton with their goal being scored by new loan signing Danny Ings. The Saints need goals after a dismal time last season with only 37 goals scored. Home form saw just four home wins and only relegated West Brom earned less points on home territory.

Leicester City have three points from their two league games and a top-ten finish looks on the cards for the former champions. They may have lost their opening game at Manchester United but put in a good performance. It was the same in their next game as they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0, though they could have done without having Jamie Vardy sent off and he misses this game. They lost nine away league games last season and four of their last five away games in the Premier League have ended in defeat. A tricky game to predict but the lack of Vardy will hurt Leicester and a bet on under 2.5 goals in this game is the one to go for.
