Southampton vs Everton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Southampton have had a rough time of it of late and begin this game in 18th place. They are one place and three points behind their opponents Everton, who are also strugging for form. It might be that if this game ends with one team winning, the defeated club may well part ways with their manager. Southampton go into this game knowing if they concede eight goals, that's better than they did in their last home match. They lost 9-0 at home to Leicester City and followed that up with two league and cup away losses to Manchester City. Southampton have just eight points from their 11 league games Their last six league games have produced just a solitary point at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Those six matches have seen them concede 21 goals with 16 of those coming in the last three home games. Only one of their last nine home league matches have been won and they are yet to win one this season. Their next three home league matches are against the other sides currently in the bottom four, Southampton need to start winning at home or Ralph Hasenhutl may not make it to Christmas.

Everton are also in deep trouble and Marco Silva is also in danger of losing his job. They are one place above the relegation zone, a loss here would see the Saints go level on points with them. Las weekend saw them draw 1-1 at home with Tottenham and only one of their last seven league games have been won. All those summer signings are yet to make any significant difference to Everton. In fact, they seem to have gone backwards. Away form is a massive problem for Everton and has been for a while now. They have lost their last four, conceding nine goals. Only one point has been earned on their travels, the opening weekend goalless draw at Crystal Palace.  It's now eight away league games without a win and in five of those games they have failed to score but they haven't been playing against this Southampton defence. It's difficult to predict a match when both teams are struggling. A bet on both teams to score looks a possible winner.
