Southampton entertain Everton at St. Mary's Stadium in this Premier League match. The home team are in 10th position with 29 points while the visitors are in 16th position with 22 points. Southampton are unbeaten in their last three league matches and this includes a 1-1 draw in their last match against Manchester United. The Saints have only lost once in their last 10 matches, losing 3-1 to Wolves in January. Their home record is even more impressive as they are unbeaten in their last nine matches and have only lost once all season at home. Southampton have lost their last two league games against Everton, last losing three in a row against them between 1990 and 1992. They are without a clean sheet in their last 13 matches which is currently the longest streak of any team in the league. They have however scored in each of their last eight matches.

Everton are having one of their worst season in recent years but the appointment of Frank Lampard as manager seems to be the turning point as they convincingly beat Leeds 3-0 in their last match.
