Crystal Palace return to Premier League action and have a vital away game at Southampton. They may of beaten Tottenham in the FA Cup on Sunday but are only three points above the relegation zone. Only one of their last five league games have been won and two of the last nine on the road. Away form has seen a few good results but six of the last nine league games have ended in defeat. If they are to stay in the Premier League, they need to find some consistency and only once this season have they managed to win two games in a row.
Southampton are only behind their opponents on goal difference and with a home game against Palace followed by a trip to Burnley and then hosting Cardiff, there's an ideal chance here to get some points on the table and get away from the relegation zone. They have won their last two league games and that makes four in seven games since appointing their new manager. Home form for Southampton has been a problem for a while but only two of the last seven have been lost. Both teams are inconsistent hence their lowly league positions, the suggested but Southampton have been getting some good results of late and can get the win here.
