Southampton will be hoping to rise out of the relegation zone when they play host to Brentford in their next game in the Premier League. The two sides come into the game 16 points apart – Brentford in ninth place while Southampton are bottom on 22 points. Southampton did well against Manchester United in their last game but will feel the 0-0 draw was not the best they could get from the game. Playing at Old Trafford, the Saints went close on a number of occasions, playing against 10-man United. They lacked the killer touch and will hope to do better at home. Brentford’s loss to Everton was the first time in five matches that they failed to score and they’ve managed more than a goal in just two of their last six matches. Coming into this game, the London side’s matches have ended in under 2.5 goals in three of the last five, with both sides scoring in three. While they would like to return to winning ways, Brentford haven't won any of their last three matches away from home and 5theyve failed to score in two of those three matches. Their last four away matches have had under 2.5 goals.
