Southampton are enjoying a good run of form at present and have gone four games unbeaten since their home loss to Manchester United. They're not quite the team they were last season, especially defensively, but have been getting some good solid results against some decent teams. Last weekend they drew at Liverpool to keep up their unbeaten away record in the Premier League. At home they have beaten Swansea and drawn with Leicester (losing a 2-0 lead to the comeback kings) and only the best sides seem to get wins at St Mary's. That's not a description that befits their local rivals Bournemouth who are starting to slide down the table and will I reckon be definitely relegated at the end of this season. Injuries have blighted their season but recent weeks have seen heavy defeats and they've conceded ten goals in their last two league games with successive 5-1 defeats away at Man City and home to Spurs. Their last four league games have produced just one point from a 1-1 home draw against Watford. Southampton is never an easy place to go to and I see a convincing home win for Southampton here.
