Ljubljana is the venue for another international friendly, this time between Slovenia and Montenegro. Slovenia managed an impressive 2-1 away win in Romania in their latest matchup. It made it five games unbeaten for the hosts, notably taking points against Norway (twice), Sweden and Norway. After an impressive appearance in the 2010 World Cup, Slovenia seem to have cultivated another exciting crop of young talent, with Benjamin Sesko and co having revitalised the team’s fortunes in the past year. When it comes to their home form, Slovenia have been incredibly tough to beat, conceding defeat just twice in their last fifteen on home turf. They have also impressively kept eight clean sheets in those games. 

With regards to the Montenegrin side, things have not gone so great for them in recent games. Their recent draw with Slovakia was their fourth winless match in the last five, while an attacking issue has also been apparent. Montenegro have failed to score in two of their last three internationals, scoring more than twice in just two of their last nineteen games. While they have never visited Slovenia for a game, they have played them twice on home turf, failing to win either game and scoring just once in the process.
