Slovakia host Liechtenstein in Group J of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. The home side are second in the table with the visitors in bottom place without a point to their name. With four games remaining, Slovakia are five points behind leaders Portugal and ahead of third placed Luxembourg on goal difference. They have to finish in the top two as their Nations League results does not guarantee them a place in the play-offs. Slovakia began the group with a 0-0 home draw against Luxembourg. They got into winning form with a 2-0 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina and then won 2-1 in Iceland.  A third win came in Liechtenstein but only by 1-0. Their winning run came to an end when being beaten 1-0 by Portugal. With away games against the Portuguese and Luxembourg in their next two games, they can't afford any slip-up here. A few goals would be handy to boost the goal difference. The loss to Portugal ended a run of seven games without defeat.

Liechtenstein are without a point in this game and they won't be going to Germany next year for the finals. It'd take a massive improvement in form for them to even get close to a top two finish. They have only scored one goal in their five matches in this group and that was away in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 16 goals have already been conceded by them in this group. Liechtenstein have lost their last 18 matches since getting a draw against Armenia in September 2021. Their last win came three years ago when beating Luxembourg. On their travels, they last won a match in a Euro qualifier nine years ago when defeating Moldova. Since then, they have earned one point from ten games with two goals scored. We go for Slovakia to get the win and lead at both half and full time.
