Sligo Rovers host Viking in Ireland, attempting the challenging feat of overcoming the 5-1 deficit of the first leg. Sligo are generally in positive form of late. They managed to eliminate Welsh side Bala Town and Scottish side Motherwell in quick succession and managed to regain some momentum in the weekend by beating Bohemians for the league. They are trailing domestically however, where they are fifth and a staggering seventeen points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers. 

After pulling off a shocking victory over Sparta Prague, Viking are in pole position to contest their Conference League participation in the play offs after their resounding 5-1 win in the first leg. The visitors are in excellent form, having lost just once in their eight games. However, they will need to display some more serious defensive solidity than they have done in recent games. Specifically, Viking have conceded in five of their last six games and have kept clean sheets in just two of their last twelve games on the road. The positive for the Norwegian side is that they tend to score away from home, having done so in twenty-five of their last twenty-six games.
