Sligo Rovers welcomes Motherwell to the Showgrounds for this second leg match in the Europa Conference League. The home team had an excellent away win in the first leg and will fancy themselves to complete the job at home. Sligo Rovers surprised their much fancied opponents in the first leg and now know that they only need a draw to win the tie. It will be dangerous for them to try and defend a slender one goal lead but they will not need to take any risks as well. Sligo Rovers are not enjoying the best of league seasons as they are currently fifth in the Irish Premier League. They have however only lost twice in their last ten matches with five wins and three draws. They will be disappointed to have lost their last two home matches and will be looking to avoid three consecutive home defeats for the first time this season.

Motherwell will be looking to bounce back from their shock defeat in the first leg of this tie. Their performance in front of goal will need to be improved as they failed to find the back of the net in that match. They will need to win by at least a two goal margin in order to win the tie. This will not be an easy task against a Sligo Rovers defence that showed great resilience in the first leg. Motherwell last played a competitive match in May and their lack of match practice was evident,they will be hoping to be sharper in this match. They have won four of their last six matches with two losses. Their away form has been good as they have won three of their last four matches.
