Sligo Rovers host Bala Town with the advantage of their 2-1 win over the first leg in Wales. With that win, the hosts extended their unbeaten streak to seven games, managing to score in six of those. At the Irish Premier Division, which is currently ongoing, Sligo are fifth in the standings, having the fourth best home record in the league. They are seven games unbeaten at the Showgrounds stadium, conceding in six of those games. In fact, Sligo’s games tend to open up at home with Over 2.5 goals being confirmed in five of the last seven and Both Teams To Score in six. The Irish outfit are almost always worth a goal, having managed to blank just once in their last sixteen games and against a Bala Town who will be forced to look for goals, space could open up on the counter. 

Bala Town saw their lead being overturned in the first leg by Sligo and will now be forced to attack in order to have chances to qualify for the next round of the Conference League qualification. It was however their first competitive game since late April and they will be much more prepared this time around. Bala Town ended the league in second place behind TNS , yet with twenty one points behind their rivals it wasn’t much of a contest. They did finish the league in an impressive eight game unbeaten streak however, with four of the their last five also featuring a clean sheet. Bala Town will certainly be hopeful of getting in on the score sheet at least once, having done so in their last ten games.
