The final round of matches in Group B of the CAF Champions League will see Sima taking on Galaxy on Saturday afternoon. The hosts are currently in second place in the group standings, while the visitors are fourth. Simba are level on points with third-placed Galaxy but lead with a better head-to-head goal difference of one. A win here will earn Simba a spot in the knockout stages behind ASEC Mimosas, who have already clinched top spot in Group B. The Lion Army have got themselves in contention for a top-two finish despite only winning one match in this competition. They played out a stalemate away to ASEC last week, marking their third draw in five matches as well as their third clean sheet in this competition. At home in the CAF Champions League, Simba have won one and drawn one of their two matches and are unbeaten in their last six games dating back to last season’s tournament. The reverse fixture between these two ended goalless, but the hosts are the favourites in this one. 

Meanwhile, despite sitting at the bottom of Group B heading into the final match, Galaxy are not out of it just yet. They trail the teams in second and third place by two points, meaning that a win here, and provided Wydad loses to ASEC, Galaxy will move into second place with seven points and join ASEC in the knockout stages. However, that will require the visitors to bring an end to a four-match winless streak in this competition, which includes one draw and three consecutive defeats coming into this fixture. In addition, it will also need Galaxy to halt a four-match goalless drought, having only scored in their opening match of the competition agaisnt Wydad Casablanca. Still, having kept their qualification hopes alive to this point, the visitors cannot be ruled out just yet.
