Sheffield Wednesday host Watford on Wednesday night hoping to get back to winning ways after their three-game winning streak was brought to an abrupt halt by Southampton a couple of weeks back. Since then, the Owls have lost to Coventry at Hillsborough in the league and then in the weekend played the same opponents at home in the FA Cup, earning a replay against the Sky Blues after a 1-1 draw. It has been a tough baptism for Danny Rohl since he was taken on as manager back in October and his team still remain in 23rd spot in the Championship table, five points from safety and with a markedly worse goal difference than Huddersfield, who currently sit in 21st place. Wednesday also don't have history on their side in this fixture - they have won just one of the last nine games against Watford, and that win came at Vicarage Road. Their last home win over the Hornets came back in October 2010, when they won 2-1. 

Watford currently occupy 10th spot in the table and have 40 points from their 28 games. They are three-points off the playoff spots and are unbeaten in their last four Championship games, albeit three of those games being draws. They have struggled for consistency at times this season under Valerien Ismael, especially at home, and they have earned as many points on the road as they have at Vicarage Road. They have certainly been a team to watch if you like goals - Both teams have scored in all of the last 10 Championship games Watford have played and eight of their last ten league games have seen over 2.5 goals go into the back of the net too. Only leaders Leicester City have defeated Watford in any of their last 10 away games, meaning this could well be a tough one for Owls fans to watch.
