Sheffield Wednesday vs Swansea Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in FA Cup Predictions
Sheffield Wednesday host Swansea City in the fifth round of the FA Cup and the home side will be looking to cause a shock, If they do win, it won't be the biggest shock of all time as they host a side who admit the Premier League is far more important. To add spice to the cup tie, Swansea City boss Carlos Carvalhal returning to the team he only left a few weeks ago. Wednesday have been struggling in the Championship but had a big win over promotion chasing Derby County earlier in the week to move up to 15th but more importantly nine points above the bottom three. To get this far in the FA Cup they have beaten Carlisle, after a replay and Reading. They have only lost one of their last five home games and have won four of their last five FA Cup home ties. Swansea City were rock bottom of the Premier League but have only lost one of their last 11 league and cup games and are now out of the bottom three. City have beaten Wolves and Notts County to reach round five but needed replays in each round. They will be without several key players as their manager prioritises Premier League safety. A bet on a draw looks a good one to go for.

Our Sheffield Wednesday vs Swansea Prediction
Sheffield Wednesday will have had their confidence boosted by the win over Derby County in midweek. Swansea also arrive in Yorkshire with renewed confidence and hope they will avoid relegation. They have drawn two away ties against sides from lower leagues so far this season in the FA Cup and this looks like being another stalemate.
