Bottom meets top in this Championship match at Hillsborough. Sheffield Wednesday prop up the table and host league leaders Leicester City. The Owls have had a miserable return to the Championship after being promoted via the League One play-offs last season. Wednesday have earned just six points from their 17 league games and that puts them 36 behind City. They are four points adrift at the bottom of the table and ten points from safety. Only one league win has been recorded this season. That was a 2-0 home win over Rotherham United who are also in the bottom three. They've been unable to build on that lone success though with the next three games being lost and only one goal scored. That came on Saturday when losing 2-1 at Birmingham City after taking a first half lead. At home, Wednesday have five points from eight games but have only lost one of the last three. Just four home league goals have been scored this season.

After a couple of league defeats, Leicester City got back into winning ways on Saturday. They beat Watford 2-0 to record their 14th league win of the season. Even better news came later in the day when second placed Ipswich Town lost at West Bromwich Albion. That means the Foxes ended the weekend three points clear at the top of the Championship. City won their first seven away league games of the season before losing 1-0 at Middlesbrough. They have only conceded six away league goals this season, scoring 18.
