Sheffield Wednesday take on Leeds United in the Championship on Friday evening looking to get back to winning ways. The Owls were humbled away to Sunderland last time out and took on The Whites with Leeds having drawn both games in the Championship thus far. What is our prediction for this Yorkshire derby match?

Danny Rohl's Wednesday started the season with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle and then defeated Hull 2-1 in the EFL Cup First round. However, the wheels came off in their last game, when they lost 4-0 at Sunderland. They conceded three goals in a thirteen-minute spell in the opening 24 minutes of that game to rule out any chance of adding to their unbeaten start.

Despite the loss, Sheffield Wednesday is in 10th place in the Championship table after two games, five places above their opponents in this fixture. 

Daniel Farke's Leeds United are unbeaten this season in the Championship, but have drawn both their opening two fixtures. An exciting 3-3 opening day draw with Portsmouth, was followed by a shocking 3-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup First round. However, Farke's team bounced back to pick up a good point in their last game, a 0-0 draw away to West Bromwich Albion.

Having sold striker Georginio Rutter to Brighton in a £40m transfer recently, and Crysencio Summerville already a £25m departure to West Ham, Leeds could be down on firepower as they seek their first win of the season at Hillsborough.
