Bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United’s time in the Premier League comes to a close when hosting Tottenham who are fifth. The Blades have only earned 16 points this season and are eight points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League. Only three league games have been won by them this season with an appalling 101 goals conceded. Each of their last six league matches has ended in defeat, most recently a 1-0 loss at Everton. Just conceding once was rather impressive for United. They have only won two home league fixtures this season with 12 games being lost. 54 goals have been conceded at home by them with the last six ending in defeat. They do regularly get on the scoresheet themselves though with the last four at home seeing both teams score.

Tottenham's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League ended on Tuesday evening. A home loss to Manchester City means a top four finish is now beyond them. European football has been achieved though and a higher league postion than last season. A draw will guarantee that they finish in fifth place. Losing would see Chelsea pip them for fifth if they win their final match of the season at home to Bournemouth. The Lilywhites won the reverse fixture against United 2-1 with both their goals coming in added-on time in the second half. Spurs have had a devil of a time away from home in the Premier League this season with a 6-6-6 record. Three of their last five away league matches have seen them fail to score. We expect them to get on the scoresheet against the woeful United defence. They come into this final game in poor form though with four of their last five league games ending in defeat. They won't want to let the season end on another defeat. We believe they can win this match but with both teams getting on the scoresheet.
