Sheffield United vs QPR Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Nella Wagah in Championship Predictions
Sheffield United will be keen to keep their promotion hopes alive when they host QPR in their next game in the Championship. Ahead of this game the two sides sit side by side in the standings; Sheffield United with 61 points in eighth place and QPR ninth with 59 points. Sheffield stays out of the top six courtesy of their loss to Stoke City on Saturday but they are just a point out. This comes after being hit by a poor run of form that left them with just two wins in the last seven matches. Most of their struggles have been on the road. At home, Sheffield are a different side and going into this game they are unbeaten in 10 straight games, and more, they have eight clean sheets in the 10 matches. Sheffield last lost at home in October 2021; in the 10 matches that have followed, they’ve only conceded two goals and won seven.
QPR are also coming from a loss; theirs at home to league leaders Fulham. The 2-0 loss marked the first time in five matches that they failed to score but it was their fifth loss in six matches. Clearly they are on a bad run going into this game. Two wins only in the last 10 matches has surely affected their confidence levels as earlier seen and in four of their last five matches they’ve conceded two or more goals. Four of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they’ve conceded 11 times in this period. In the last 12 matches, QPR have no clean sheet. Their away run isn’t the best as well; they have no clean sheet in the last 10 away matches and in five of the last six on the road, they’ve lost. Three times in their last five away matches they failed to score and in this form, they will definitely be the underdogs here.

Our Sheffield United vs QPR Prediction
QPR come into this game on a poor run; their away form is especially bad. They face a side that is coming from an away loss but has a great run at home. Sheffield United haven’t lost at home in the last 10 matches and have only conceded twice. We expect this run to continue, given they face a struggling side, so go for a home win here.
