Sheffield United looked assured of three points on Friday when 3-0 up at Aston Villa with less than ten minutes to play. They ended up drawing 3-3 and ended the weekend three points behind Leeds United in second-placed. United now take on fifth-placed Middlesbrough and can't afford to give away leads as they did on Friday. They are in good form at home with four straight league wins and the lastt three have seen them keep clean sheets.
Middlesrbrough are seven points off second place but do have a game in hand. They also led at the weekend but didn't convert their 1-0 lead over Leeds United into a home win, eventually drawing 1-1. They have only won one of their last five league and cup games but have won their last two away league games at Birminghan and West Bromwich Albion. This should be a competitive game but United are strong at home and have an in-form striker in Billy Sharp, go for a home win.
