Premier League basement club Sheffield United will look to make the most of Manchester United’s jittery form when the clubs meet this weekend. This matchday #9 will be played at the Bramall Lane on Saturday with Sheffield bottom of the table with one point and Man United 10th with 12 points. The Blades are making records for the wrong reasons, and have just one point from eight league matches. This is the joint-lowest by any side in the competition’s history at this stage of the season. This sequence has seen them win just once, which came in the most recent fixture.

Man United went into the international break on the back of a comeback win, that reinvigorated Old Trafford faithful. They were losing the game 1-0 to Brentford at home, deep into stoppage time. Yet, substitute Scott McTominay came off the bench to score a brace and lift the mood at the club. Whether they will be able to sustain the momentum is a question that is up in the air. Injuries have already wreaked havoc with the United squad and they are now hit with more problems as Casemiro and Amrabat are also ruled out during the international break. Even the temporary makeshift backline with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof is unlikely to inspire confidence.
