Sheffield United and Wolves clash at Bramall Lane on Monday night of the Premier League's long opening weekend. The only major departure for Wolves has been that of Matt Doherty. The attacking right-back is one of the best players in his position in the league, so the sanction of his sale to Spurs was strange. It will be interesting to see how they replace him. Otherwise, Wolves have brought in Portuguese talent like wonderkid Fabio Silva as well as experienced defender Marcal from Lyon. Wolves were strong away from home last season with one five teams having better away records. They were unbeaten in 14 of their 19 away games with only Liverpool losing fewer matches. Their team has a nice balance to it with strength at the back and deadliness in attack, Raul Jimenez scoring 17 league goals. We expect this game to be tight. Selhurst Park was the only Premier League ground with a lower goals-per-game average than Bramall Lane (2.05 per game). Back a draw.
