Sheffield United host Chelsea on Sunday just days after both teams were involved in their own dramatic matches in the Premier League. The Blades went to Anfield to face Liverpool and despite conceding the opening goal, struck back to level the game. With just 15 minutes to go a shock looked on the cards but once again late goals went against the Blades leading to a 3-1 win for Liverpool. That loss ended a run of two draws in a row for Chris Wilder's team who remain firmly entrenched in the relegation battle, lying 20th and bottom of the table with 15 points, eight from safety and with comfortably the worst goal difference in the division. With just eight games to go, the Blades survival in the Premier League is looking increasingly unlikely.

As dramatic as the action was at Anfield, it paled in comparison to events at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea trailed after 90 minutes plus nine minutes of injury time, yet somehow managed to score twice in the space of 80 seconds to secure an incrediblt 4-3 win. The win means Chelsea have now gone six games unbeaten, although two of those games include FA Cup wins over Leeds United and Leicester. The Londoners have lost just one of their last ten games in all competitions winning six, drawing three. They have also lost just one of their last five away games, winning two drawing two and they currently lie 10th in the Premier League table on 43 points, five behind Manchester United in 6th in a potential Europa League spot, but with a game in hand.
