Sheffield United will go in search of three points once again when they welcome Brentford in their next premier League game. Both these teams are coming from defeats, which left Sheffield bottom of the standings and Brentford 11th. In the 2-0 loss to Liverpool in their last game, Sheffield gave a better effort than in the 5-0 defeat at Burnley. However, goals either side of half time broke them, leaving them with just a win in 15 league matches. They have the least number of wins in the league and have conceded the most goals. Sheffield have also scored the least number of goals in the league thus far. Much is written against them coming into this game, and three straight losses don’t work in their favor.

Brentford travels to Sheffield United for the first topflight game since 1946. They will be looking to recover after a 2-1 loss at Brighton. That was their third loss in a run of four matches, blighting their earlier good run. With four wins in their last seven matches, Brentford will be confident coming into this game. They’ve failed to score in just two of their last nine matches. Meeting the poorest defence in the league means they will have the favorites’ feel. Brentford have scored three times in three of their last seven matches and six of eight have had over 2.5 goals. In three of their last five away league matches, both teams managed to score.
