Shakhtar Donetsk had another successful European campaign last season. Not quite in the Champions League where they exited in the group stages but they did have to face both Real Madrid and PSG. After finishing third in the group they went into the Europa League and reached the semi-finals losing to eventual winners Sevilla. They'll be keen to get back into the group stages again this season and hopefully get a kinder draw. Shakhtar begin their campaign with not too bad a draw and will be looking to beat Young Boys. Their Swiss opponents finished second in their league last season but it's still 30 years since they last won the title. They've never made it through to the group stages of the Champions League but did reach the last 32 of the Europa League in 2014/15. Young Boys have lost their last three European ties conceding at least three goals in five of their last six games. Shakhtar are really difficult to beat at home and can get a convincing lead to take to Switzerland for the second leg.
