At one time this season both these sides were dreaming on a decent run in the Champions League. Both finished third in their groups and ended up in the Europa League, great to see failure rewarded isn't it? Shakhtar didn't have much chance of progressing really after being drawn in the same group as Real Madrid and PSG. They did manage to put three past Real Madrid at home but conceded four. Six games produced just a solitary win over Malmo but since coming into the Europa League they've been doing much better. They've won five of their six games in the knockout stages and will be hard to beat here. Sevilla are attempting to win this competition for the third year in a row and get back into the Champions League. There's no guesses what their weakness is though and it's their away form. They lost all three of their away Champions League games and have won one, lost one and drawn one in the knockout stages of this competition, their only win being at fellow La Liga side Atletico Bilbao. Only Getafe and Levante have a worse away record in La Liga than Sevilla and they're still looking for their first away win in the Spanish league despite being seventh in the table. I go for a Shakhtar win here that might just loosen the grip that Sevilla have on this competition.
