Napoli finished third in Serie A last season but were only five points behind Juventus. They have made a confident start to this season with three straight wins including two away from home and are second behind Juventus on goal difference. Last season they had the best away record in Serie A and their only defeat away from home in their last five Champions League games was away at Real Madrid and they had good away wins at both Dinamo Kiev and Benfica last season. Shakhtar Donetsk competed in the Europa League last season and won all six of their group matches. Then they ran into Celta Vigo in the last sixteen and were knocked out by the eventual semi-finalists. Shakhtar have made a strong start to the season in the Ukranian league and top the table by two points after seven wins and a defeat. Form in the Champions League isn't good with six losses in their last eight games. This won't be easy for Napoli but they are good on the road in all the competitions they play in and can get a win here.
