13th-placed Sevilla host Mallorca who are two places below them in the La Liga table. Neither of these sides are likely to be playing European football next season. Sevilla, who have enjoyed so much success in Europe are 13 points behind the final qualifying position. They are only nine points above the relegation zone but should be safe from the drop. A win over Mallorca would certainly ease any relegation fears that they have. Sevilla are in good form at present with their last two games against Getafe and Las Palmas both being won and on the road too. Their last home league fixture saw them lose 2-1 to Celta Vigo, their sixth defeat of the campaign. Only four of their 15 home league matches have been won this season. There have been some good recent wins though on home soil with Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad being beaten.

Mallorca are only six points above the relegation zone and have gone three games without a win. Their most recent match saw them lose 1-0 at home to Real Madrid. Before that they lost the Copa del Rey final to Atletico Bilbao on penalties. Mallorca have only scored 25 league goals this season and just 11 in away matches. Their last eight games have all seen under 2.5 goals scored in them. A new striker being signed is important for them. Three of their last four away league fixtures have seen them fail to get on the scoresheet. We go for under 2.5 goals to be scored in this match.
