Sevilla vs Granada Prediction & Betting Tips - LaLiga

It hasn’t been easy for Sevilla the recent weeks and they will be hoping for some reprieve when they host Granada in La Liga. Sevilla are fourth in the league standings, with 57 points heading into this game while Granada have 29 points, in 16th place. In their last game, Sevilla put up a brave fight but in the end fell 1-0 to Barcelona and with that, dropped to fourth place in La Liga standings. It was their fourth straight winless outing and they failed to score in the last three matches. Their attack hasn’t been the sharpest in recent weeks; going into this game, they have failed to score more than a goal in the last six matches and eight of their last 10 matches have produced under 2.5 goals. Having played just once at home in the last four matches, Sevilla will be hoping for a better turn as they return to their base. In the last 12 home matches they are unbeaten.

Granada are struggling as well; in their last five matches they’ve managed just one win. They are coming from a 2-2 draw with Rayo Vallecano, a game in which they had to come from two goals down after Rayo were reduced to 10 men. A 3-2 win over bottom placed Alaves is their only victory in the last 12 matches and they’ve failed to score in five of their last 10 matches. In those 10 matches, they suffered six losses and they’ve obviously not been at their best defensively, conceding two or more goals in seven of their last 10 games. Away from home, Granada have suffered four losses in their last five matches, and they’ve conceded two or more goals in their last three away matches. In this game, they will hope their recent form against Sevilla plays out, having beaten their hosts in two of their last three meetings, including in the first leg this season.
