Sevilla earned a good draw at Anfield in their opening game in this group and should find life a lot easier at home to Maribor. The Spanish side are third in La Liga but lost their unbeaten record when going down 1-0 away to Atletico Madrid at the weekend. Their home form continues to be excellent and they are unbeaten in their last 20 league and cup games since a loss to Juventus in November of last year. In the Champions League they have only lost one of their last six home games and won four of those games. Maribor equalized five minutes from time in their opening game against Spartak Moscow, a game they needed to win as their realistic target in this group is to pip Moscow for the Europa League place. They have only won two of their seven away Champions League games and conceded at least three goals in three of those matches. Maribor are second in the Slovenian league this season behind the league leaders on goal difference and unbeaten away. This is a big step up for them though and Sevilla can win this match on a -1 handicap.
