Third placed Sevilla host the league leaders Barcelona but even a win is unlikely to put them in the title race. The home side are 11 points behind second-placed Real Madrid and 13 adrift of their opponents. Their main concern is clinching a top four place to qualify for next season's Champions League. Currently, they are four points ahead of fifth-placed Getafe with nine games to play. Sevilla are unbeaten in their last six league games and have four points from the two games played since the La Liga season resumed. Home form is strong with seven wins and just two losses. They are unbeaten in their last six at home with one loss in the last 12.

Barcelona have a two-point lead over Real Madrid and have won both of their two games played in the past week. Six goals have been scored with none conceded and Lionel Messi getting on the scoresheet in both fixtures. However, both those wins came against sides currently in the bottom three, this will be a lot tougher. Barcelona hae won six away league games this season but lost five times. Two of the last four have been lost and Barca have won just two of the last six on the road.
