Serbia vs Bulgaria Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Serbia can automatically qualify for the Euro 2024 finals if avoiding defeat at home against Bulgaria who are bottom of Group G. This is Serbia's final group game and they begin it in second place. They trail leaders Hungary (at home to Montenegro) by two points and are a couple ahead of third placed Montenegro. Avoiding defeat in this game will see them clinch a top two spot. Anything less than a Montenegro win in Hungary will see them through regardless of how this game progresses. The Serbs have won four of their seven group games with two losses, both to Hungary. Their most recent group match saw them get a crucial 3-1 home win over Montenegro. Their home form has produced two wins out of three and the loss to Hungary after taking an early lead. Their last international was on Wednesday, losing 1-0 away in Belgium, going behind after just two minutes. The reverse fixture saw them draw 1-1 earning a point thanks to a 96th minute equalizer. Even if they do miss out on a top two finish they are guaranteed a play-off position.

Bulgaria are unlikely be going to Germany next year for the Euro 2024 finals. They are propping up the group with just three points from their seven games. However, because of their Nations League performances there is still an outside chance the Lions could make it into the play-offs. The Bulgarians are the only side in the group yet to win a match. Three draws have come against Hungary and Serbia at home and away in Lithuania. That's the only point the Tricolors have earned on their travels with defeats in Hungary and Montenegro. Thursday saw them draw 2-2 at home to Hungary, again missing out on a win because of a late equalizer, this time in the 97th minute. We go for Serbia to get the win here and qualify for the finals.
