Sekhukhune United will be at home against Stade Malien on Sunday for matchday three of the CAF Confederations Cup. The two sides are tied on points in Group D with Stade second and Sekhukhune third. Sekhukhune won last time out in the competition to respond swiftly to their matchday one loss to RSB Berkane. They defeated Diabes Noirs 2-1 at home and will be confident of keeping their home record intact. The South African side followed up on their continental victory by defeating Chippa United 2-0 in the PSL last time out. Sekhukhune, who are making their Confed Cup debut, have won their last three games at home.

Stade Malien are regulars in this competition and will hope to use their pedigree to get a positive result here. The Malian side has also won once in this group. Their victory came away from home as they subdued bottom side Diabes Noir 3-1 on matchday one. Last time out though in the competition, Lassina Diarra’s men were defeated 2-1 at home by Berkane. Les Blancs had won three consecutive games before the loss to Berkane. Though they have struggled over the years playing away in this competition, their recent form will have them confident here.
