Scotland - Norway: Form Analysis
Scotland were already assured of a playoff spot after winning their group at the Nations League earlier in the year. However, they have left nothing to chance and are guaranteed a top-two finish with a game to spare. The Scots come into this match off the back of a 2-2 draw against Georgia in midweek, which followed their only loss in the competition to Spain. The hosts' biggest strength of late has been their form at home. The Tartan Army have won all three games on home soil in this competition, scoring two or more in each. They also kept clean sheets in all three matches. Scotland won the reverse fixture 2-1 and are the favourites in this one, according to the bookies.
Meanwhile, Norway will be bitterly disappointed with their showing in this competition. They were fancied to challenge Scotland and Spain for a qualification spot but were set on the back foot early as they failed to win any of their first three matches. Despite bouncing back with three victories on the trot, a 1-0 loss to Spain in midweek ultimately brought an end to their hopes of sneaking into the top two. The Lions have taken four points from their three away games to date, losing only to group leaders Spain in that time. While they cannot qualify for the main draw, the Norwegians will want to give their travelling fans something to cheer before they bow out of the tournament. However, that will require them pulling off a very big upset.

Scotland & Norway Squad Analysis
Steve Clarke remains without the services of his captain, Andy Robertson, who is still suffering from a shoulder injury he sustained against Spain last month. Aaron Hickey, John Souttar and Kevin Nisbet are the other players that are on the treatment table. Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney is a doubt for this match, while Lawrence Shankland will be hoping for a place in the starting 11 after a late call-up.
Manchester City’s talisman Erling Haaland could miss this match after aggravating a left ankle injury in Norway’s midweek friendly against Faroe Islands. Reports in the week have suggested that the Premier League Golden Boot winner should be fine to play this match, but we could see him opt to sit this one out, with Man City scheduled to take on Liverpool when the Premier League resumes on November 25.
