Bayern have won the Bundesliga for the past four seasons and have already made a storming start to the new season. One game played so far and they kicked off their defence with a thumping 6-0 home win over Werder Bremen. They managed 27 goal attempts with Lewandowski starting his season off with a hat-trick.  Bayern won the league by ten points last season and only lost one away game. Such was their dominance of the Bundesliga, Schalke finished fifth last season but were 36 points behind Bayern. The home side here didn't get their season off to a good start at all losing 1-0 to Frankfurt who nearly got relegated last season. That's despite them having more possession, 11 goal attempts and the opposition having a player sent off. It could have been worse with Frankfurt missing a penalty. Schalke lost four home games last season and failed to win any of their last three. Bayern can show their dominance again and win on a -1 handicap.
