Australia are top of this group with two wins from their games so far. A 1-0 win in the United Arab Emirates and a 2-0 win over Iraq have put them in a great position to automatically qualify for Russia. Also on six points are their opponents Saudi Arabia who beat Thailand 1-0 at home and won 2-1 in Iraq. Australia have only lost two of their last 11 away games, the last being a defeat away to England in the summer. Saudi Arabia are in good form at present with no defeats in their last 12 games and seven home wins in a row. It's been a struggle in their two wins though with all three goals they have scored being penalties. Australia have a great record against Saudi Arabia though but the best bet here looks to be for going down the route of an Australian win.
