Sassuolo may have fallen in their last game, but a loss to Juventus in their current form has nothing to be ashamed of and they will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they host a struggling Empoli side that sits just above the relegation region with a win in their opening match and only a draw in the next three league matches. Empoli fell to Citadella in the Coppa Italia and seemed to have found their footing in their opening league game, against Cagliari but after that win they have been on a nosedive and they will be desperate to pick the three points on offer here. They have failed to score more than one goal in their four matches after the opening day win (including one friendly match) and they will be facing a Sassuolo side that has scored 14 goals in their last five matches, including five goals on two occassions. Sassuolo have conceded eight goals in the last five matches and have kept just one clean sheet in the last five matches. They will be heading to the game on a fine streak in the Serie A, with just three losses in the last 16 matches in the league. At home in the league they have four wins in five matches.  Empoli on the other hand, have managed four clean sheets in the last 10 matches and have just three wins in the last 10 Serie A matches. They have just two clean sheets in the last 21 matches in Serie A and they have lost 10 of their last 15 Serie A matches away from home.
