Santa Clara and Braga will face off at the Estadio de Sao Miguel in Liga Portugal, with both teams hoping to secure a vital win. Santa Clara currently sit in 15th place in the league, just a point above the relegation places, while Braga are in third place, six points off the top spot. One of the main issues for Santa Clara has been their lack of goals. The team have the third-worst attack in the league, with just 11 goals scored in 14 games. This said profligacy has not been particularly evident at home though, where Santa Clara have won just two of their nine games, but with eight of those games seeing goals at both ends. It will be important for the hosts to find a way to break down the Braga defence and get on the score sheet if they want to come away with a win. Despite these challenges, Santa Clara will be hoping to turn things around against Braga. They have a good record when hosting them, having lost just one of their last four home encounters against them. While Braga have won five of their last seven away games, they have been less convincing defensively on the road, keeping just three clean sheets in their last ten away games. They have also struggled in their recent visits to Santa Clara, having won just twice in their last six away games against the hosts.
