San Marino host Estonia at the Serravalle, looking to end their historic 124 game winless plight against an Estonia side who have already clinched top spot in this group. It was the year 2004. San Marino took their first and only win since against Liechtenstein. Their record since then: 124 game without a win. San Marino had a chance to end that against Seychelles, yet didn’t live up to the task and the game ended in a scoreless stalemate. On the upside, it ended the hosts’ 18 game losing run, with their last draw being back in 2020 against Gibraltar. At home, things are looking dismal for the San Marino side. Nine defeats in their last ten, and just two goals to their name during that time. Estonia also held a scoreless draw in their last friendly game against Albania. They more than compensated against Malta however, where a late goal saw them promoted to League C. While they have a good record against San Marino, they once conceded a draw against them, while all of their wins against them were narrow. They are also less than motivated for the win, group, having already won their group irrespective of overcoming the obstacle of their lowly hosts.
