Sampdoria vs Inter Milan Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Inter Milan travel to the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday afternoon for a Serie A match against Sampdoria. Second in the table with 36 points from 15 games, Inter are only one point behind city rivals AC Milan. Sampdoria, meanwhile, are 11th in the table with 17 points. The home side are on a two-game losing streak, the most recent setback coming in the Italian capital over the weekend when they lost 1-0 to AS Roma. Inter Milan can hardly relate to Sampdoria as they haven't tasted defeat for a while domestically. Antonio Conte's side is the form team in Serie A after winning their last eight matches. They walloped Crotone 6-2 on Sunday in a closer game than the scoreline suggests (Inter didn't score their third goal until the 57th minute). Inter have only kept two clean sheets in that eight-game winning streak, evidence of their ability to outscore opponents. No Serie A team has scored more than Inter's 40 goals, 12 of which were scored by the league's joint-top scorer, Romelu Lukaku. 

Inter have been superb on the road ever since football resumed following the first lockdown. They are unbeaten in 13 away games, nine of which ended with them winning. This form is terrible news for a Sampdoria team that has failed to win five of their last six home matches. Inter have won their last six games against Sampdoria, three of which were away. We foresee another victory for the visitors. Back Inter to win and both teams to score.
