Salzburg vs Lazio Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Red Bull are eight points clear at the top of the Austrian league so should be in the Champions League again next season, They lost 1-0 at LASK Linz at the weekend and that's their second straight loss after losing the first leg of this tie 4-2 in Italy. Home form in the Europa League has been strong this season and they are yet to be beaten with four wins and two draws with just one goal conceded. They will need to keep that good defensive record in this game and they have six clean sheets in their last seven at home in all competitions.
The first leg of this tie was action-packed with Lazio going ahead twice but Red Bull drew level at 2-2 after 71 minutes. The Italian side then scored in the 74th and 76th minutes to earn themselves a two-goal lead to take to Austria for this second leg. They come into this second leg on a seven game unbeaten run in all competitions and have scored at least twice in all but one of those matches. Each of their last four away games has seen them score twice and that includes a 2-0 win away to Dynamo Kiev in the last sixteen of the Europa League. Lazio are third in Serie A and have the third best away record with ten wins this season. Lazio have only lost two of their last 14 away Europa League games, both occurring this season but of those 14 games seven have ended in draws but they scored in 12 of them. This is a difficult game to predict and the first goal will be vital. Red Bull have to score at least twice to have any chance but the chances of them keeping a clean sheet against high-scoring Lazio looks unlikely. Go for over 2.5 goals in this game.
