Salzburg vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Eintracht Frankfurt reached the semi-finals last year and they look on track for the last sixteen of the Europa League. They lead Red Bull Salzburg 4-1 from the home leg with all their goals coming in the first 56 minutes. Daichi Kamada hit a hat-trick for them but they couldn't add any further goals. A late score by Red Bull has given their opponents a slight glimmer of hope of rescuing the tie. Frankfurt played Union Berlin at home on Monday and went down to a 2-1 defeat, their second loss in three games after a 4-0 thumping at Borussia Dortmund earlier this month. In the Europa League this season, Frankfurt have won four and lost two on their travels including a win at Arsenal. Recent form isn't so encouraging with only one win in their last six away matches.

Red Bull Salzburg are in deep trouble in this tie. They will need to score three goals without reply to get through and if Frankfurt score once, four just to get extra time. It's not an easy task at all and they aren't in good form at present. Red Bull have lost two of their last three games with their latest at the weekend being a 2-2 draw at Austria Vienna, a game they led twice but conceded an 89th minute equalizer. They certainly can't afford to concede twice in this game and have now conceded nine goals in their last three matches. Their home form in the Europa League gives them a chance as they are unbeaten in their last 14 played. Go for a home win, though it's unlikely to be one good enough to take them through.
