Liverpool are still unbeaten under Jurgen Klopp and have won their last two games. They start this game in second place in this group after drawing their first three games. They only lead Kazan, who they drew with 1-1 at Anfield, by a point so a win here will really strengthen their chances of making it to the last 32. A defeat will put them in real danger of getting knocked out as they still have to go to group leaders Sion.  Liverpool are starting to look a bit more confident, especially midfield Couthino who scored twice in the win over Chelsea at the weekend. Benteke could be back for this game and Liverpool are starting to look like a team that can start scoring goals again. Kazan have two points from their first three games and have drawn their only home game in this group, 0-0 against Bordeaux.  They continue to be in inconsistent form in the Russian Premier League and don't look at all likely to be in this tournament next season. At present they are 12th and only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. They have won two of their last three league games but both were against sides that are in that drop zone. Kazan have a good home record in European competition but this current team have already been beaten four times at home in the league. A Liverpool away win is definitely possible here.
