Rotherham begin the weekend just a place above the bottom three. They are a point above the relegation zone and are four points ahead of Charlton who are one from bottom in the table and in terrible form at present. The home side nearly had a big win last weekend as they lead 2-1 at Cardiff before having to eventually settle for a 2-2 draw. The last five home Championship games have only produced one win but that was over promotion chasing Brighton and Hove Albion. They have won three of their last four home league games and it's that which is keeping them out of the bottom three. Charlton Athletic are really struggling at present. They are one from bottom and four points from safety, a loss to Rotherham would stretch that gap to five points and having played an additional game. Charlton haven't won a league game since November and have gone 12 league and cup matches without a victory. A run of just three points from seven games is making avoiding relegation really difficult and they have conceded 12 goals in their last three games. A vital home win for Rotherham looks on the cards here.
