Having sacked their manager during the international break, Rotherham are looking for some relief against high-flying Leeds. This match at New York Stadium on Friday will see the hosts start 22nd and the visitors 3rd in the Championship table. Rotherham went into the international break on the back of a 4-0 loss to Watford, which proved to be the last straw for manager Matt Taylor. He was sacked instantly as the Millers stay four points away from safety. They have won just two of their 16 league matches so far, losing nine and drawing five. The record is slightly better at home where they have lost just two of their eight games in this league campaign. They are on a three-match unbeaten run at this venue in the Championship and even a point here could be gold dust.

Leeds are eight points behind top-two but with only three points separating them from fifth-placed Preston, they can’t take things lightly. The visitors went into the break high on spirits, winning 2-1 against Plymouth. That was their third win in a row and sixth of their last seven league games. A 1-0 defeat against Stoke was the only aberration and also a rare clean sheet for Leeds. Their away form hasn’t been as pristine as their overall form though, with Leeds only managing four wins across their eight away league matches this season. That included alternating wins and losses over their last four trips, after a 1-0 win at Leicester on their last trip.
