A vital game in Group F as third placed Romania host Sweden who are second and a point above them. Romania will gain automatic qualification if winning their last two group games. However, they are home to Sweden and then away to group leaders Spain. Romania have earned seven points from their four home games in this group. Their only loss came to Spain but they may live to regret being held to a draw by Norway. Their only two away wins came at the bottom two of the Faroe Islands and Malta. The loss to Spain is their only loss in their last seven internationals and the sole defeat in their last ten at home.

Sweden go into this match knowing a win will take them into the finals. A draw wouldn’t be a bad result either with three points against the Faroes looking extremely likely. They have only lost one of their eight qualifiers, a 3-0 away defeat in Spain. Three games have been drawn, including that 3-3 draw in Norway where the home side equalized in the 97th minute, how costly could that be? They also conceded a 92nd minute equalizer at home to Spain, so a bit more concentration in the dying moments is needed perhaps.
