Romania will hope to give a more convincing output when they welcome Andorra to Bucharest in their Euro 2024 qualifier. This Sunday clash finds Romania second in Group I and Andorra are bottom in the pool. This match presents Romania a chance to go top of the group if leaders Switzerland falls to Belarus earlier. The hosts don’t have a playoff route through the Nations League and will have to fight it out in this group. While they haven't lost a lot in recent times, too many draws leave Romania with an unconvincing run. They’ve drawn four of their last five matches, and kept three clean sheets in the five games. In their seven matches in this group, Romania have three wins only. Those three are all they have in 11 Euro qualification matches. They are however undefeated in their last three home matches in Euro qualification, winning two. At home, Romania have scored in all their last five matches. Coming into this game, Andorra aren’t on a great run either, having failed to win any of their last 10 games. Their last outing ended in a 3-0 loss at home to Kosovo. That was their second straight loss with that margin and the third straight game without scoring. In their last five matches, Latvia have managed just one clean sheet and conceded over 1.5 goals in four. A 2-0 win over Liechtenstein is Andorra’s only away win in eight outings. Heading into this game, they have no win in four straight away games. Unlike Romania, their chances at qualifying for Euro 2024 are over, having failed to win a game so far. With two points after seven matches Andorra can only hope not to finish bottom of the group.
