Roma vs Inter Milan Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Roma are fifth in Serie A but  extremely unlikely to secure a Champions League place. They host Inter Milan who are second in the table and still in with an outside chance of winning the title. Roma are 12 points behind the final Champions League position with five games left to play so little chance of qualification. Their main target has to be ensuring they qualify for the Europa League. That's looking more likely with a ten-point lead over eigth placed Sassuolo. Roma are in top form at present with each of their last three league games won. Seven goals have been scored in those wins but none have been against sides higher than them in the table. The highest placed side beaten was Verona, currently ninth but in poor form. At home, Roma have won nine league games this season and lost five. Current form is strong though with four of the last five won. 22 of the 33 Roma league games this season have had over 2.5 goals scored in them and it's 12 out of 17 at home.

Inter Milan have won tleven away league games this season and no other side in Serie A has won more than that. They have only won two of the last five though with defeats at Juventus and Lazio. Those losses seriously damaged Inter's title hopes but they still have an outside chance of becoming champions. Juventus and Lazio are both struggling for form and betwee them have three points from their last six games played. With them facing each other at the weekend, there's the chance for Inter to make more ground up on them. Inter moved up to second on Thursday with a 4-0 win at SPAL. However, they still have six points to make up on Juventus, in fact due to losing out on their head-to-head games, Inter will need to find seven points to get above them. This won't be easy at Roma and a bet on over 2.5 goals looks the best one to make.
