AS Roma are third in the table and play this game on a Friday to give themselves a few days preparation for their Champions League game at Real Madrid next Tuesday. They trail that 2-0 after losing the home leg so qualification isn't expected but this game against Fiorentina might go some way to deciding if they'll be in the Champions League next season. Just the top three sides qualify for the Champions League from Serie A and Roma are ahead of fourth placed Fiorentina only on goal difference. Home form for Roma is really good this season with nine wins, three draws and a defeat to Atalanta back in November. Current form is really impressive with six straight wins and 18 goals since a loss to league leaders Juventus. In all, Roma have just that one defeat in their last 13 league games and are six league games unbeaten at home. Fiorentina are still licking their wounds after being knocked out of the Europa League by Tottenham last Thursday. Their away form is proving costly with four defeats so far and only one away win out of the last four. A Roma win looks very much on the cards here.
