Roma vs Feyenoord Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League
by Nella Wagah | in Europa League Predictions
AS Roma will be at home when they face off again with Feyenoord in a repeat of last season’s Europa Conference League final, this time in the return leg of their Europa League quarter final. Ahead of this Thursday game at the Olympic Stadium, Feyenoord lead 1-0 from the first leg and are in with a chance to avenge the painful loss last season, only needing a draw. The team that progresses from this tie will face off with the winner from the quarter final pitting Bayer Leverkusen against Union Saint-Gilloise.

The bookies have Roma as favorites at 1.93 while Feyenoord have odds of 4.6 to win as a draw comes priced at 3.75. Roma - Feyenoord: Form Analysis
This game has a lot of attachment to both teams, in light of the Europa Conference League meeting last season. Roma have all to play for in the return leg – for them it is a must-win clash, as that is their only way to the semis, having lost 1-0 away. The Italians warmed up for this game with a 3-0 win over Udinese in the Serie A; their third win in four matches. Their run at home has been superb coming into this game, winning eight of the last 10 across all competitions and in all those wins they have kept clean sheets. In the last four matches at home, Roma have scored two or more goals, and they have three straight home wins in Europa League, scoring two or more in four of five home games in the competition.
This will be the fifth meeting between these two sides and the first leg win was Feyenoord’s first ever against Roma. The visitors come into this game on the back of a good run in their domestic league. A 3-0 win away to Cambuur in the Eredivisie was the third on the bounce for Feyenoord and the fourth in five matches. They have a good scoring run, finding the back of the net in each of their last 26 matches. The last time they failed to score was in the October game against Sturm Graz away from home and in three of their last five matches they’ve scored three or more goals. Feyenoord’s away run in the Europa League has however not been very inspiring; this season, they’ve played four away games and failed to win any. One of those was against a Rome side, Lazio, which they lost 4-2 in the away trip. They have no clean sheet in the four away Europa League matches but have failed to score in only one of their nine Europa League matches this season.

Roma & Feyenoord Squad Analysis
AS Roma suffered a blow in the first leg of this tie when Paulo Dybala was injured and withdrawn in the first half but it is expected that he will be back for this game. Lorenzo Pellegrini will feel he has a point to prove in this game, having missed a penalty in the first leg. Roma are also expected to have Tammy Abraham available for this game. The Englishman scored over the weekend after shrugging off a shoulder injury in the first leg of this tie. However, former Feyenoord man Rick Karsdorp and Ola Solbakken will miss this game with injury.
Feyenoord have an almost clean bill of health; the only player unavailable is Quinten Timber, which means Arne Slot has a variety of options for the game as he seeks to lead the team to another European final.
