Roma vs CSKA Moscow Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Roma are in third place in this Champions League group but only a point behind surprise leaders CSKA Moscow. They play the Russian side in their next two games beginning with this home match and will be looking for three vital points. They started their campaign with an away defeat at Real Madrid losing 3-0 but then beat Viktoria Pizen 5-0 at home. Roma are unbeaten in their last seven home Champions League games and that includes wins over Chelsea, Barcelona and Liverpool.  Home points are important to them because Roma have lost all of their last five Champions League away games. Saturday saw them suffer a surprise home defeat by SPAL, their first home loss since April.

CSKA Moscow lead the group on four points after beating Real Madrid in the last set of games. Before that they had been held to a 2-2 draw away at Viktoria Pizen. They trailed 2-0 in that match and needed a 95th minute penalty to get a point. They are third in the Russian League at present and have only won four of their last 13 away games in this competition.
